The Yuletide Letter
December 15, 2009 by Youth Ministry
Admittedly, I put this clip up because I love it. And because its a great Christmas clip.
Speaking of Christmas, do you ever send or get one of those “Christmas Family Update” letters around Christmas? I always get a few. Sometimes they’re great. Sometimes they’re silly. And sometimes I don’t have time to read the whole letter…
For this week’s blog, I thought I’d ask a simple question:
If you were writing a Christmas letter to update your friends and family on your year, what 3 things would you highlight?
You can be funny or serious. Just type the 3 things you’d want people to know about your year!!! If we get at least 8 responses, then I’ll type up mine!

For the record, i hate Elf…..My three things would be….

2. You know that we still love you because we have sent you a card.
3. Merry Christmas!
Thats about it.

Agreed. The games were awesome at the retreat. Sumo wrestling was the funniest game I’ve ever seen. I think Joni came up with that game. Which makes her my hero.

For the record, Becah… Elf is the bomb. But I respect your opinion on it. What’s your favorite Christmas movie then?

Okay… now for my three…
1. the marriage retreat with my honey was off the chizzle.
2. finishing another year of school and knowing that i only have one semester left. it’s been 5 (good) but loooong years.
3. taking the powerball jackpot money that Lucas gave me to stockpile snuggies to last me a lifetime. (also, successfully tricking lucas into thinking that i bought verrrrry expensive blue jerseys.) sadly, samantha stole all of our snuggies because she needed a few extra.
4. spending another year with everyone in Teleios. awesome peeps. Seeing God make us all more like Jesus.
5. planning a secret birthday party for Becah wherein we will all act out our favorite scenes from the movie elf. i call dibs on being mr. norwall.

wow.my three are
1)rescueing my dog Sid from the road back in february(he wasn’t my dog then)
2)hanging with the youth(the young and younger)
3)and watching my mom get clobbered by a bear claw in our kitchen(don’t worry,it is a plaster of paris casting of a bear track we found at my grandfathers house.my sister Junetta(3yrsold) dropped it on my mom’s foot!)
other than that nothing else particularly exciting happened.
