Events for week of July 19-25
St. Giles County Fair, Saturday, July 24, 5:00 – 8:00 pm
Come join in on a family fun day full of games, hamburgers, hotdogs, corndogs, chips and fixins, a bake off and homemade ice cream contest! (blue ribbons will be awarded!) We also plan to have a QUILT SHOW !!!
Bring your favorite quilt to the “County Fair”
We will safely display them in the gym!
Share a quilt you bought or received that holds a fond memory!
( Did it go on your first picnic or tailgate with your husband?)
or one passed down to you and any knowledge about the person who made it!
Registration Forms will be available at the fair.
Prizes will be awarded !
Concert by Holiday
After the family fun day on July 24th at 8:00pm, you are invited to the sanctuary to a free concert by Holiday. You won’t want to miss original songs by Scotty Beshears, Paul Bowden, Daniel Burns, Judson Kovasckitz and Ellie Smith.
Pastor Bogdan Olechnowicz preaches Sunday, July 25
Bogdan was Rick and Lisa Watkins’ pastor in Gorzow, Poland and has been deeply involved in some of the very dramatic current events in Poland. He is an insightful prophetic teacher. Bogdan is one of the leaders of the prayer movement “Poland for Jesus” and is the author of two books: “The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth” and “Despised or Chosen”. He and his wife, Bozena, have two children, Maciek and Sonia.
