Ministry of Helps
About
A total volunteer army geared toward assisting those in our body in times of need. No specific training is needed – it is about using the gifts and abilities you have right now to assist others. If you choose to be a volunteer for a certain area, you may be called in the future to help out with a need. Our goal is to get as many people as possible for all the areas, so that we can spread out the service doers.
MINISTRY OF HELPS
The Ministry of Helps Committee is putting together a list of servants within our body who are willing to help widows, widowers, singles, and older couples at St. Giles who need assistance around their home when challenging circumstances arise.
For example:
When it snow or we have icy conditions, we need people to help out by picking up food, cleaning off porches and side walks.
Help with chores at home that are too difficult for them to do physically.
Check on them periodically for practical, personal and spiritual needs.
If you are willing to be a part of this ministry or if you need help, please contact David Evans at 704-904-3555, evans.david04@gmail.com.
